Vacuum and spot
Crews vacuum the area and treat spots so the encapsulating detergent works on even soil.

Low-moisture encapsulation
A fast-drying clean that locks soil into dry crystals your vacuum removes, keeping busy carpet bright without closing rooms for long.
Encapsulation uses a small amount of specialized detergent worked into the carpet with counter-rotating brushes. As it dries, the detergent surrounds soil particles and turns them into dry crystals that let go of the fiber. Your regular vacuuming lifts them out over the next few days. Because so little moisture goes into the carpet, the backing and pad stay dry and rooms go back into service far sooner than after a full rinse.
That speed is the reason facility managers lean on encapsulation for interim care. Offices that run late, clinics that open early, classrooms between terms and hotel meeting rooms between events all need carpet that looks clean without a long closure. Regular encapsulation visits keep traffic lanes from graying, push back the date of the next deep clean and keep the building looking cared for between restorations.
Encapsulation does its best work on carpet in reasonable shape, so we often pair it with a restoring extraction first and then set encapsulation visits by traffic zone. Corridors and entrances get more frequent passes, private offices fewer. Crews work evenings and weekends, and the written quote spells out which areas get encapsulation, how often and when.
Step by step
01
Crews vacuum the area and treat spots so the encapsulating detergent works on even soil.
02
A low-moisture solution goes down and counter-rotating brushes work it through the pile.
03
The detergent dries to crystals around the soil, which come out with the next vacuuming.
A few useful answers
The detergent dries into brittle crystals that trap soil and release it from the fiber. Vacuuming then removes the crystals and the soil with them. Nothing sticky stays behind to attract new dirt, which is the main difference from older shampoo methods.
Choose encapsulation when the carpet is reasonably clean and the room has to reopen quickly, and for regular interim care. Choose extraction when the pile is heavily soiled, matted or loaded with residue. Most programs use both, each on its own schedule.
Yes. The low moisture suits modular tile well because it keeps water away from the adhesive and seams. It is one of the main methods we use for carpet tile maintenance.
Encapsulated carpet dries fast, so an evening visit leaves rooms ready for the next morning. In many areas people walk on it shortly after the crew packs up.
